Rendang Sausage Rolls

SERVES 4

Spice up any party with these delicious Rendang Sausage Rolls using Sashi's Secret Beef Rendang Curry Home Chef Kit.

JUST ADD

• 300g minced beef
• 1 box Sashi’s Secret Beef Rendang Curry Home Chef Kit
• 1 large onion chopped
• 1 tablespoon neutral oil
• Store bought puff pastry
• 1 egg beaten

STEP 1

  • Preheat your oven to 180°C. In a pan, add your oil and chopped onion and garlic, sauté until soft. Take off heat and cool.

STEP 2

  • Add the Rendang curry paste, onion and garlic to the raw beef mince and combine well.

STEP 3

  • Cut your pastry into 3 thick, length ways strips and spoon the beef mixture onto them. Roll up, cut into 1-2 inch pieces and then egg wash. 

 STEP 4 

  • Bake at 180°C for 25 minutes. Serve with tomato chutney. 

Garnish Suggestions

  • Sprinkle with poppy seeds (optional)
  • Tomato Chutney
